NEW YORK CITY – January 19, 2022 Baird, an employee-owned, international financial services firm, announced today that Eli G. Silverman has joined the firm’s Global Investment Banking business as Director in Baird’s newly-established Restructuring Advisory Group . Eli will be based in New York and will partner with Durc Savini, Global Head of Restructuring Advisory, to further enhance the restructuring advisory practice at the firm and to focus primarily on advising corporate and financial sponsor clients on their capital structure-related challenges.

Silverman’s career encompasses nearly ten years of advising companies on financial restructuring, liability management, M&A and debt and equity capital raising transactions across a wide variety of industries, as well as nearly five years as an investor in distressed situations. Prior to joining Baird, Silverman was a Director in the Restructuring Group at Lazard. He also spent several years at Z Capital Partners as a member of their investment team and was previously an Associate in the Restructuring Group at Blackstone. Prior to Blackstone, Silverman worked in real estate private equity at Colony Capital and was an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank. Silverman received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Columbia Business School.
