EdgeWater Acquired by Nimbus Group

Baird Business Owner Solutions (“BOS”) was pleased to advise North Technology Group, LLC (“NTG”), a portfolio company of Oakley Capital, on its sale of EdgeWater Boats (“EdgeWater” or the “Company”) to Nimbus Group.

EdgeWater manufactures high-quality fiberglass outboard saltwater boats for fishing and leisure. Founded in 1992 in EdgeWater, Florida, the Company is known for quality craftsmanship, durability, and excellent running hulls. EdgeWater produces 15 models spanning 15’ to 37’.

Based in Sweden, Nimbus Group is a global manufacturer of leisure powerboats through its portfolio of brands. Nimbus Group has 9 manufacturing facilities throughout Sweden, Finland, and Poland. The EdgeWater acquisition strengthens Nimbus’s market presence in North America and adds U.S. manufacturing capabilities.
