MILWAUKEE, July 6, 2023 Today, Baird announced that Ellen Galezewski has been promoted to the newly created role of Director of Wealth Strategy and Solutions to support the growth of Baird’s Private Wealth Management business. Galezewski has been with the employee-owned international financial services firm since 2012 and also holds the high-ranking officer title of Managing Director.

In her new role, Galezewski will be responsible for Baird’s Wealth Solutions Group, which includes more than 130 specialists who help Baird’s 1,300 financial advisors provide customized solutions to their clients at every stage of life. She will also continue to oversee Baird’s Wealth Centers teams – regionally aligned associates who are functional experts in wealth planning, business development, practice management, and more, and serve as an extension of an advisor’s team to help support their clients’ unique needs.

“Ellen has been instrumental in the evolution of our wealth management business while also making a tremendous impact as an inspirational leader at Baird and in the community,” said Laura Thurow, Executive Director of Wealth Solutions and Operations. “She is a team player, tireless in her efforts to partner with those around her to deliver the best results. She exemplifies the best of Baird and is very deserving of this promotion.”

In recognition of her work and advocacy for others, Galezewski was named one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” in 2022. Outside of Baird, she serves as President of the Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin chapter and previously served as a board member and Treasurer of St. Thomas More High School in Milwaukee.
