Baird's European Technology & Services deal activity continues to reach new heights, successfully executing over 30 transactions in 30 months.

Serving clients from a range of high-quality business models, including services, tech-enabled services, software and SaaS, our recent transaction activity spans 12 subsectors including BPO, cybersecurity, data & information, e-commerce, fintech, GRC, human capital, industrial software, knowledge solutions, supply chain management, TICC and travel & leisure.

These successful transactions, from a variety of clients and counterparties, yielded:

• 30% of deals with a strategic entity e.g., corporate carveout or acquirer
• 50% of deals with a founder in the target business
• 90% of transactions with a financial sponsor seller or acquirer
• €100m – €2bn enterprise value range
• 19x average EBITDA sell-side multiple
• 70% cross-border deals, including across UK, DACH, Nordics, Benelux and US
