Kinderhook Industries, LLC (“Kinderhook”) recently announced the sale of a majority stake in Tectum Holdings, Inc. (“THI”) to TA Associates, LLC (“TA”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.THI is the premier manufacturer of tonneau covers, bed liners and related truck accessories. THI’s family of brands includes Extang, TruXedo, BedRug, UnderCover, Advantage, Retrax and BAK. THI is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Kinderhook is a private equity firm with over $1.25 billion of committed capital that primarily makes control investments in companies in which the firm can achieve financial, operational and growth improvements.
