Professional Experience & Education
Prior to joining Baird in 2024, Sam was a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey's Consumer, Food & Retail Group advising on numerous transactions, including Omaha Steaks International on its sale to McCarthy Capital, Gabriel Investment Group on its sale to Spec's Fine Wine & Spirits, Europcar Mobility Group on its acquisition of Fox Rent a Car and Bridgestone North America on its divestiture of Speedco to Love's Travel Shops. Previously he was an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Business Analytics practice supporting clients across the Navy and Marine Corps markets. Sam is a senior investment banker with over 10 years of significant transaction and advisory experience across the consumer landscape, where he focuses on equity offerings, M&A and other financial advisory services.
Sam received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in economics with honors from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA with distinction from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
