Professional Experience & Education
Prior to joining Baird in 2026, Dan spent 13 years at Piper Sandler where he was a Managing Director in the firm’s Consumer Investment Banking practice and a key contributor to its Food & Beverage franchise. Dan advised on numerous Food & Beverage transactions in his career, including Simple Mills on its sale to Flowers Foods, FitCrunch on its sale to 1440 Foods, Yasso on its sale to Unilever, Schwan's Company on its sale to CJ CheilJedang and RXBAR on its sale to Kellogg Company. Before Piper Sandler, Dan was a Vice President at Edgeview Partners in Charlotte, and he began his career as a Manager in PwC's Transaction Services practice, where he performed M&A due diligence.
Dan received his master’s in accountancy from North Carolina State University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a certified public accountant (inactive) in the state of North Carolina.
