Jon Langenfeld, Chief Financial Officer, Chairman of Equities

Jon Langenfeld serves as Baird’s Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In this role, he oversees the firm’s financial management and strategic investment activities, helping guide Baird’s long-term growth and capital allocation.

He previously served as Head of Global Equities and earlier as Director of Research. He continues to provide guidance across the firm’s equities platform in his role as Chairman of Equities.

Since joining Baird in 2000 as an Equity Research Analyst, Jon’s career has spanned numerous firmwide and business unit strategic roles, including extensive experience working directly with institutional clients and corporate management teams. He currently serves on the firm’s Private Equity Investment Board, Baird UK Board, and the Human Capital and Finance Committees. He is also executive sponsor of Ascend, Baird’s Associate Resource Group focused on supporting and advancing women.

He is also actively involved in the community and has served on nonprofit boards focused on advancing education, including Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Marquette University High School.

Prior to joining Baird, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided supply chain consulting services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
