FastMed Urgent Care (“FastMed”) recently announced its FastMed Texas Operations have been acquired by HCA Healthcare (“HCA”). The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Baird served as the lead financial advisor to FastMed Urgent Care on this transaction.

About

FastMed is one of the nation’s largest urgent care providers, with nearly 200 clinics in Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and Texas. Under three brands, FastMed | CareSpot | MedPost, they provide a broad range of acute/episodic, preventive and occupational healthcare – in its clinics and via telemedicine – as well as family medicine at selected clinics. FastMed is one of the few urgent care providers in the nation that has earned The Joint Commission’s coveted Gold Seal of Approval® for quality, safety and infection control in ambulatory healthcare. FastMed is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Texas operations of FastMed include 41 clinics in total. The facilities included in the deal are 19 and 22 locations with the FastMed and MedPost brandings, respectively, located across the Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston and El Paso areas.
