CNSI, a portfolio company of AMCP, acquisition by Carlyle


Client Network Services, Inc. (“CNSI” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Alvarez & Marsal Capital Partners (“AMCP”), has agreed to be acquired by The Carlyle Group (“Carlyle”) (NASDAQ: CG). The transaction is subject to various regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Baird served as exclusive financial advisor to CNSI on this transaction.

Carlyle’s acquisition of CNSI illustrates the following priorities in Government Healthcare M&A: (1) State and Federal procurement strategies evolving to prioritize commercial grade and / or COTS technologies; (2) requirement for massive modernization across the healthcare technology ecosystem in favor of modular and interoperable systems; and (3) experienced management team and proven business model driving value.
