Vander-Bend Manufacturing, Inc. (“Vander-Bend”), a portfolio company of Aterian Investment Partners (“Aterian”), has successfully completed the acquisition of Swiss Precision Machining, Inc. (“SPM” or the “Company”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Vander-Bend is a premier developer and full-scale production supplier of design, prototype, manufacturing and assembly solutions for leading global medical technology and other high technology OEMs. Vander-Bend provides these world-class products and services from six facilities strategically located in the Western and Midwestern United States. Vander-Bend has been serving its customers for nearly 40 years and is headquartered in San Jose, California

SPM is a high-precision manufacturer of components, assembles and accessories utilized in the robotic surgery and other high technology end markets, in particular with a focus on consumable medical instruments. The Company has a longstanding history of providing highly complex and tight tolerance medical components with capabilities including CNC swiss screw machining, prototyping, engineering and assembly with rigorous quality standards. SPM was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Wheeling, Illinois.
