AboutBroad Street Realty, Inc. (“Broad Street” or the “Company”) (OTCMKTS: BRST) has completed the first phase of its merger with MedAmerica Properties, Inc. In connection with the merger, Broad Street received $66.9 million in senior debt financing and $6.9 million of preferred equity from real estate funds managed by Basis Investment Group, LLC (“Basis”). As of the completion of the initial mergers, prior investors in the Broad Street entities collectively own approximately 87.0% of the shares of common stock and OP units of the Company. The Company expects to close the remainder of the previously announced mergers, which will result in the acquisition of an additional eight properties with over 1.2 million square feet in Maryland, Virginia and Colorado.
