Infiana Group GmbH (“Infiana” or the “Company”), a privately held company owned by funds advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (“DBAG”) (DB:DBAN), was acquired by Pamplona Capital Partners V ("Pamplona") for an undisclosed value.

Infiana is an international market leader in the manufacture of engineered polyolefin films serving critical functions in a diverse range of growth industries. Infiana serves an international customer base from two well-invested manufacturing locations in Forchheim, Germany and Malvern, Pennsylvania with five focus verticals of building and construction (B&C), pressure sensitive materials (PSM), personal care, health care and composites. With support from DBAG throughout its ownership period, Infiana invested in modernising and expanding its production facilities, streamlining its operations to its core focus areas, including disposals of both the Brazilian and Thailand-based business units, and continuing to lead the market with innovation. This focus on innovation has led to the receipt of multiple awards. Infiana, which has a 165-year history, employs around 800 people. The Company generated sales of 227 million euros in 2018 and is headquartered in Forchheim, Germany.
