Cambridge Education Group Limited (“CEG”), a portfolio company of Bridgepoint (“Bridgepoint”), recently announced its sale of the CATS Colleges Division (“CATS Colleges”) to Bright Scholar Education Group (“Bright Scholar”), in a transaction totalling £150 million. CEG is now formed of two divisions: ONCAMPUS and Digital. ONCAMPUS teaches pre-university programmes with the opportunity for guaranteed progression to a wide range of undergraduate and Master’s degrees at a range of universities across the United States, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. Working closely with partner universities, CEG Digital helps to create, market and deliver part-time online and blended university programmes to students around the world.
