Rexnord Corporation (“Rexnord”) (NYSE:RXN) has sold all shares in its subsidiaries, VAG Holding GmbH and GA Industries Holdings LLC (together "VAG" or the “Company”), to AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co KGaA (“Aurelius”) (XTRA:AR4) for an undisclosed amount.

Rexnord is a diversified industrial company generating $2bn in sales. Rexnord manufactures process & motion control and water management products for a diverse array of global end markets. Rexnord has a history of more than 125 years and currently employs about 8,000 people globally. Rexnord is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

VAG is a market leading manufacturer of highly engineered valve solutions for the global water market. The Company’s products are used globally in water and wastewater, hydropower, utility, industrial and pressure management applications. VAG’s comprehensive solutions portfolio is associated with a very strong brand reputation, industry-leading quality and outstanding engineering capabilities. The Company has facilities in Germany, Czech Republic, China, the United States, South Africa and India and currently employs around 1,200 people. VAG is headquartered in Mannheim, Germany.

Aurelius is an investment company focusing on the acquisition of carve-outs and companies with operational improvement and growth potential ranging from €50m to €1bn in sales. Aurelius currently has 22 portfolio companies located across Europe that generate more than €3.5bn in sales. Aurelius is headquartered in Munich, Germany, and London, the United Kingdom.
