BrightView Holdings, Inc. (“BrightView” or the “Company”) (NYSE: BV), a portfolio company of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (“KKR”) and MSD Capital, L.P. (“MSD”), recently completed an initial public offering of 21,300,000 common shares at a price of $22.00 per share, generating gross proceeds of $468.6 million. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to 3,195,000 additional shares. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to pay down existing debt.

BrightView is the largest provider of commercial landscaping services in the United States. Through its team of approximately 19,000 employees, BrightView provides services ranging from landscape maintenance and enhancements to tree care and landscape development for thousands of customers’ properties, including corporate and commercial properties, HOAs, public parks, hotels and resorts, hospitals and other healthcare facilities, educational institutions, restaurants and retail, and golf courses, among others. BrightView is headquartered in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.

KKR is a leading global investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate and credit, with strategic manager partnerships that manage hedge funds. KKR aims to generate attractive investment returns for its fund investors by following a patient and disciplined investment approach, employing world-class people, and driving growth and value creation with its portfolio companies. MSD is the private investment firm that was established in 1998 to exclusively manage the capital of Michael Dell and his family. The firm utilizes a multi-disciplinary investment strategy focused on maximizing long-term capital appreciation by making investments across the globe in the equities of public and private companies, credit, real estate and other asset classes and securities. MSD’s team operates from the firm’s offices in New York, West Palm Beach and Santa Monica.
