Audiotonix Limited (“Audiotonix” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of funds under the management of Epiris Managers LLP (“Epiris”) and Livingbridge EP LLP (“Livingbridge”), was recently acquired by Astorg Partners ("Astorg"). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Audiotonix is the global market leader in the design and manufacture of audio mixing consoles for live events and broadcast sound. Its three premium brands (Allen & Heath, Calrec and DiGiCo) support live sound for a variety of purposes such as concerts, TV broadcasting, theatre shows and major international live events. The Company is headquartered in Chessington, the United Kingdom.

Epiris, together with its predecessor firms, has managed the business and affairs of Electra Private Equity PLC, a listed private equity investment trust, for four decades. Epiris has also managed private equity investment programmes for pension funds, financial institutions and family offices. During this time Epiris has invested in excess of £5 billion in over 200 deals. As at 30 September 2016, the firm had funds under management of £2.4 billion. Epiris is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Livingbridge is a mid-market private equity firm investing from £2 million to £50 million in fast-growing companies in the United Kingdom and Australia. It seeks to invest in a number of sectors, including business services, consumer, leisure, financial services and telecom, media and technology and has funds under management of ca. £2.1 billion. Livingbridge is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Astorg is a European private equity firm with total funds under management of over €4 billion. Astorg seeks to partner with entrepreneurial management teams to acquire European companies and create value through the provision of strategic guidance, experienced governance and adequate capital. Though not specialised, Astorg has gathered valuable industry expertise in healthcare, business-to-business professional services, and technology-based industrial companies. Astorg has offices in London, Paris and Luxembourg, plus Senior Advisors based in Zurich and Frankfurt.
