Origin Healthcare Solutions, LLC (“Origin” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company (“BPOC”) and Technology Crossover Ventures (“TCV”), was recently acquired by Meridian Medical Management (“Meridian”), a portfolio company of The Gores Group (“Gores”). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2001, the Company has operations throughout the northeast and southeast of the United States. Origin is headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut.

Meridian is a leading provider of revenue cycle, business intelligence, EMR and system integration services for large, multi-specialty physician groups and academic practice plans. Leveraging over a decade of experience, Meridian’s team of professionals provides revenue cycle performance, business intelligence and practice growth to some of the most prestigious medical groups in the country. Meridian is headquartered in Wilbraham, Massachusetts.

Gores is a private equity firm focused on acquiring controlling interests in mature and growing businesses which can benefit from the firm’s operating experience and flexible capital base. Gores was founded in 1987 and is based in Los Angeles, California.

BPOC is a Chicago-based private equity management firm founded in 1996 to invest in middle-market buy-out transactions, recapitalizations and growth platforms in the health care industry.

TCV, founded in 1995, is a leading provider of capital to growth-stage private and public companies in the technology industry. With nearly $10 billion in capital raised, TCV has invested in more than 200 technology companies over the last 18 years. TCV is based in Palo Alto, California.
