Geveke B.V. (“Geveke”), a portfolio company of ABN AMRO Participaties (“AAP”), recently completed its sale to Nikkiso Co. Ltd. (“Nikkiso”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Geveke is a market leading systems integrator and distributor, providing complete systems, services and spare parts, operating through three divisions: Pumps, Compressed Air and Technical Solutions. The Pumps division offers highly engineered pump packages for onshore and offshore applications in oil & gas and other process industries such as chemical injection and nitrogen generation. The Compressed Air division offers fixed and variable speed compressor packages for manufacturing and process industries and is the largest distributor in the Benelux region of equipment for compressed air. The Technical Solutions division offers sustainable energy packages such as heat pumps, humidifiers and boilers for commercial buildings and industrial markets. Geveke is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and employs over 240 people across the Netherlands, Belgium and Malaysia. Nikkiso is a manufacturer of special pumps, metering systems, water conditioning systems for heating and nuclear power plants, as well as medical devices and carbon fibre products. Its subsidiary LEWA GmbH, headquartered in Leonberg, Germany, manufactures metering pumps and process diaphragm pumps as well as complete metering systems for oil & gas and other process industries. Nikkiso is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and employs over 5,400 people across Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. AAP is a private equity firm headquartered in Amsterdam, providing equity financing to companies in the Netherlands. AAP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V.
