Navman Wireless (“Navman” or the “Company”), owned by Management and Prairie Capital, recently completed its sale to Danaher Corporation (“Danaher”) (NYSE: DHR). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Navman Wireless is a global Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) provider of GPS-based fleet optimization products and services, including real-time vehicle tracking and analytics that enable companies to track, monitor and communicate with their mobile and fixed equipment assets. The Company's technology currently monitors approximately 175,000 vehicles and assets worldwide, making Navman one of the world's largest fleet management providers with coverage on five continents. The Company is headquartered in Glenview, Illinois, with operations in the United States, Mexico, U.K., Taiwan, China, Chile, New Zealand and Australia.

Prairie Capital is a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on facilitating ownership transitions for lower middle market companies and corporate carve-outs. Prairie Capital is typically the first institutional investor in these entrepreneurial companies, with an aim toward growing and professionalizing the businesses. Prairie Capital was founded in 1997 and is currently investing out of its $300 million fifth fund.
