AboutNES Global Talent (“NES” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Graphite Capital (“Graphite”), was recently acquired by AEA Investors LP (“AEA”) for £234 million.
NES places highly skilled contract engineers and project managers with blue chip, multi-national clients, principally in the oil and gas industries. The Company achieves industry leading productivity levels through the rapid identification, placement and on-going support of engineers globally. NES’ 450 staff serve its clients through a global network of 32 offices. Since 2006, the Company has more than trebled the number of contractors on its books to nearly 5,000 placed in 62 countries. NES is headquartered in Altrincham, England.
Graphite is a specialist provider of private equity finance to middle market companies headquartered in the UK, focusing on management buy-outs and buy-ins, expansion capital and turnaround opportunities. Graphite invests in transactions with enterprise values of £25 million to £200 million and manages more than £1.2 billion in capital.
AEA Investors LP was founded in 1968 by the Rockefeller, Mellon, and Harriman family interests and S.G. Warburg & Co. as a private investment vehicle for a select group of industrial family offices with substantial assets. Today, AEA’s over 60 investment professionals operate globally with offices in New York, Connecticut, London, Munich, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
