Interplast Packaging, Inc. (“Interplast” or the “Company”), a division of Tricor Pacific Capital’s portfolio company, Keyes Packaging Group (“Keyes”), was recently acquired by Pactiv LLC (“Pactiv”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Interplast is the leading North American manufacturer of recycled PET egg cartons for use in the retail packaging of specialty eggs. The Company serves customers across the specialty egg supply chain including egg producers, graders, marketing groups and grocery retailers. Interplast is based in Terrebonne, Quebec.

Keyes is a leading manufacturer of specialty packaging focused on the fruit, egg and wine industries. Keyes’ other operating subsidiaries include Keyes Fibre and Wrap Pack. Keyes Fibre is a producer of molded fiber trays for fruit, vegetable, egg and wine packaging and Wrap Pack is a manufacturer of specialty tissues primarily used for wrapping pears during storage and shipment.

Tricor Pacific Capital is a leading private equity firm that invests in middle-market companies located in the U.S. and Canada. The firm’s investment efforts are concentrated in specialty manufacturing and business services. Tricor Pacific Capital has offices in Vancouver, British Columbia and Lake Forest, Illinois.

Pactiv is one of the world’s largest producers of food service disposables and food packaging. Pactiv is a division of Reynolds Group Holdings, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of food and beverage packaging. Reynolds Group Holdings is owned by Rank Group Limited, a privately held investment company based in Auckland, New Zealand.
