Phillips Plastics Corporation (“Phillips” or the “Company”) recently completed its sale to Kohlberg & Company, L.L.C. (“Kohlberg”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Privately-held and headquartered in Phillips, Wisconsin, the Company is a leading provider of highly engineered components and fully-assembled products to customers in diverse end markets, including medical, defense, consumer, industrial and automotive markets. Phillips specializes in plastic and metal injection molded products and components, operating through five manufacturing campuses located in Wisconsin and two dedicated design and development centers. The Company currently employs approximately 1,300 people. Kohlberg is a leading U.S. middle-market private equity firm, focusing on investing in companies where it can work in partnership with senior management to identify growth opportunities and implement fundamental operating and strategic changes, resulting in substantial increases in revenues and cash flows.
