Engineered Controls International, Inc. (“ECII” or the “Company”) recently completed its sale to Sentinel Capital Partners (“Sentinel”).

ECII is a manufacturer of specialized pressure regulators, valves and control equipment for mission critical, downstream applications for liquefied and compressed gases. The Company serves a leading network of distributors and OEMs on a global basis. Founded over 100 years ago, the Company is the global leader for control equipment used in the transportation and storage of liquid propane gas (“LPG”), cryogenic liquids and compressed gases. ECII’s premium, branded products are well recognized as the highest in quality, which is critical for its end-users who rely upon the Company’s equipment to ensure the safe transportation and usage of volatile gases. The Company is headquartered in Elon, North Carolina and operates facilities in North Carolina, Mexico, Germany and China.

Sentinel Capital Partners specializes in buying and building middle-market companies in the United States and Canada in partnership with management. Sentinel targets consumer products, food and restaurants, franchising, manufacturing, and service businesses. Sentinel invests in management buyouts, recapitalizations, corporate divestitures, and going-private transactions of established businesses with EBITDA of between $5 million and $35 million.
