AUTO KELLY, a.s. (“AUTO KELLY” or the “Company”) has been acquired by RHIAG Group Ltd (“RHIAG”), a portfolio company of ALPHA ASSOCIATI S.r.l (“ALPHA”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.AUTO KELLY is the Czech Republic market leader in importing and distributing aftermarket parts and accessories used for cars and light utility vehicles. The Company operates an extensive distribution network with more than 49 retail locations. AUTO KELLY provides its customers with a broad product portfolio comprising over 17,000 items through branded products and its spare parts brand Starline. AUTO KELLY reported 2009 sales of CZK 2.5 billion (€100 million).
RHIAG is the market leader in importing and distributing aftermarket parts and accessories for the automotive industry in Italy, Switzerland and large parts of Eastern Europe. The Company operates in eight countries and offers a broad product portfolio comprising automotive parts, accessories, tools and equitpment.
ALPHA is a private equity firm specialized in LBOs and Development Capital investing in family-owned companies or spin-offs from large corporations. To date, ALPHA has completed over 125 investments throughout Continental and Eastern Europe.
