Baird Expands Distribution Coverage with Addition of Garry Vaynberg

MILWAUKEE, July 15, 2026 – Baird Global Investment Banking announced today that Garry Vaynberg has joined the firm’s Global Industrial Group as Managing Director. Vaynberg will partner with Chris Cooper and Andrew Sweet to expand Baird’s Distribution practice. 

Vaynberg spent more than two decades of his investment banking career at Piper Sandler, where he led the firm’s distribution coverage. Throughout his tenure, he has worked on over 100 transactions including sell-side assignments, buyer advisory, fairness opinions, restructuring advisory and public and private offerings of equity and debt. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School.
