MILWAUKEE – March 18, 2026 Baird today announced that Stephanie Reif has joined the firm’s Public Finance group as Vice President, Public Finance Specialist. In this role, Reif will serve in a consultative manner, providing customized services and cost-effective tools to meet the unique needs of Wisconsin municipalities, counties and special districts. She will actively work with clients to provide Tax Increment District (TID) consulting; financial management assessment and capital improvement planning modeling; as well as training, mentoring and stand-in services.

Reif brings a strong background in municipal finance, with extensive experience in governmental accounting, budgeting, audits, and internal controls. She most recently served as Finance Director for the City of Waupaca, where she oversaw citywide accounting operations, financial reporting, debt administration, and compliance with GAAP and state statutes.

We are excited to welcome Stephanie to our Wisconsin public finance practice. Her experience as a municipal finance director, combined with her expertise in governmental accounting, budgeting and GAAP-compliant reporting, brings valuable perspective to our clients.
