Baird’s Commerce Technology Practice Sees Momentum in Transaction Activity

Baird Global Investment Banking’s Commerce Technology team has maintained an active presence in the sector and has delivered continued transaction success this year. Since 2019, the team has completed 16 deals, generating over $5B of transaction value. While the sector was growing fast before the pandemic, COVID-19 has accelerated the decades-long shift to eCommerce. As a result, the team has seen a significant increase in recent activity, closing eight transactions in 2021 alone.
