CHICAGO – March 25, 2021 Baird, an employee-owned, international financial services firm, announced today that Erich Fritz has joined its Global Investment Banking business as a Director on the Global Technology & Services team to cover Industrial Software & IoT / Enterprise AI. Fritz, who will be based in Chicago, brings more than 10 years of experience and knowledge of industrial software, IoT & telematics, enterprise infrastructure software and selected vertical artificial intelligence applications. He will work closely with both Baird’s Global Industrial and Global Technology & Services teams.

Fritz joins Baird from Jefferies, where he led Enterprise AIoT & Industrial Software Investment Banking within its Technology Investment Banking practice. He also held investment banking roles at RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Genuity and UBS. Fritz began his career as an electrical engineer within the Advanced Concepts & Technologies division of Northrop Grumman, an aerospace and defense technology company. He graduated from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business with an MBA in Finance and from Penn State University with a B.S. in Engineering.
