The list highlights the Chicago area’s 50 fastest-growing businesses, and both portfolio companies are ranked in the top 10, with Hireology ranked as No. 4 and Signal ranked as No. 9.

The company’s human resources software helps small businesses, car dealerships and individually owned franchises make better hiring decisions. In the five years following Hireology’s launch, the number of small businesses in the U.S. increased by 2.3 million, according to Small Business Administration figures.”

SignalMarketing Technology

“Publishing isn’t dead to Signal, a top 10 finisher on Crain’s Fast 50 for three years running. The $48.3 million marketing software company, founded in 2010 as BrightTag, rebranded as Signal in 2014. Its platform’s job: to help brands use the data they already had about customers to get better at advertising, merchandising and marketing to those buyers online.”
