Baird Global Healthcare Investment Banking Adds Brett Skolnik as Managing Director
Industry Veteran Expands Sector Coverage
NEW YORK, April 9, 2018 – Baird, an employee-owned, international financial services firm, today announced that Brett Skolnik has joined the firm's Global Investment Banking business as a Managing Director on its Global Healthcare team. Skolnik will cover healthcare facilities and alternate site providers, with a focus on multi-site physician and other provider groups, behavioral health and post-acute care. He will work closely with Baird’s broader Healthcare Services team and be based in the firm’s New York City office.
Skolnik joins Baird from BMO Capital Markets where he served as Managing Director, responsible for the firm's healthcare M&A practice. Prior to BMO, Skolnik served as CFO of a private specialty pharmaceutical company and held healthcare and M&A related investment banking positions at Piper Jaffray, Cowen, PaineWebber and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Skolnik earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School at Columbia University.
