Tim Wiencek, Senior Vice President , Support Banker

Tim joined Baird in 2013 in Fixed Income Capital Markets Compliance before transitioning to Public Finance in 2014. In his role as a Support Banker, Tim manages transactions from inception to settlement. This includes assisting with the development of complex financing plans utilizing both taxable and tax-exempt general obligation and revenue bonds, compilation of outstanding debt tables, official statement review, and all activities related to coordinating the successful “closing” for each municipal offering. 

Prior to his role as a Support Banker, Tim was a member of the Quantitative Resource Group for over 10 years where he helped develop long-term capital improvement plans and evaluate advance/current refinancing opportunities of tax-exempt and taxable debt. Tim received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
