Michael Oldiges, Senior Vice President, Support Banker

Michael joined Baird in October 2019. He has spent his entire career working in Public Finance starting as an analyst with Hilliard Lyons in 2013. Since then, he has structured over $9 billion of tax-exempt financings for Kentucky issuers ranging from small municipalities and taxing districts to some of the largest, most complex issuers in the Commonwealth.  He assists in debt structuring and execution banking for bond issues for various clients including higher education institutions, libraries, K-12 school districts, utility systems, local governments, and various other credits.  His experience extends beyond traditional municipal bond issues, as he has led numerous direct placement financings, bank financings, and other innovative governmental financing solutions to meet clients’ needs throughout his career.  Michael is a 2013 graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Economics.
