Chip Sutherland, Managing Director

Chip joined Baird in 2019, providing investment banking and financial advisory services to Kentucky issuers. He has worked with a variety of municipalities, including K–12 schools, universities, electric utilities, healthcare institutions and water and sewer districts. Chip began his career in Public Finance at Hilliard Lyons as an analyst in 2002. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1996 with his Bachelor of Science in Economics and attained his Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University in 2001.
