Since opening operations in Illinois in 1935, Baird has a longstanding history serving clients in the State. Baird has made a concentrated effort in growing our Illinois presence to support the unique needs of Illinois issuers. Today, Baird has 8 offices in Illinois and more than 400 professionals distributed throughout the state, including a fixed income trading desk in Chicago with 15+ institutional sales and trading professionals. Specific to public finance, there are two offices located in Chicago and Naperville, employing six professionals specializing in Illinois Cities, Counties, School Districts, and Special Districts.
