Professional Experience & Education

Simon joined Baird in 2019. Prior to Baird, he was at EY, where he co-led its Technology, Media & Telecommunications M&A advisory practice. Before his role at EY, Simon was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he helped establish the firm’s business in central Europe.

Simon has extensive experience leading M&A transactions for and with, companies such as Ericsson, Sony, BT, Fujitsu, Fujifilm, Epic Games, Philips, Global Payments and Vodafone, as well as investors including HgCapital, Charlesbank, Genstar, AKKR, Carlyle, ICG, Five Arrows, Marlin, Corten, Afinum, Livingbridge, Infravia, Inflexion and Montagu. He has advised on many leading technology transactions in Europe that involved software applications across a range of verticals, including oil & gas, gaming, healthcare, image processing insurance, HR, procurement, payments, hosting, cloud cyber and digital infrastructure.

Simon holds a degree in economics from the University of Exeter.
