Professional Experience & Education

Prior to joining Baird in 2021, Nick was a Director for BlackArch Partners where he focused on middle-market M&A for financial sponsors and independently owned, founder-backed businesses. Prior to BlackArch, Nick was a Vice President in Wells Fargo Securities’ Global M&A Department, working on public, private and cross-border assignments across a variety of sectors. He spent the first several years of his career in strategy and operations at Day & Zimmermann, one of the largest family-owned corporations in the United States, and Avascent, a leading management consultancy.

Nick received an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service.
