Professional Experience & Education

Michael joined Baird in 2015 and has completed over 80 transactions in the Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals sector, including public and private equity financings, M&A and licensing transaction. Prior to joining Baird, Michael was a Research Scientist in the Viral Pathogenesis and Evolution Section at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Michael received an MBA from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and bachelor’s degrees in biology and late imperial Russian history from the University of Virginia.
