Professional Experience & Education

Prior to joining Baird in 2026, Garry spent more than 20 years at Piper Sandler where he led the firm’s Distribution practice. He has worked on over 100 transactions in his career, including sell-side assignments, buyer advisory, fairness opinions, restructuring advisory and public and private offerings of equity and debt. Garry began his investment banking career at A.G. Edwards & Sons and also worked in private equity at ShoreView Industries.

Garry received his MBA from Columbia Business School and bachelor’s degree in in finance and actuarial science from the University of Minnesota.
