Role at Baird

Ardis Tabb is a Director in Baird’s Global Technology & Services Investment Banking Group with a focus on the Infrastructure and Environmental Services sectors within our Facility, Industrial, Residential and Environmental Services (FIRE) practice. View our recent FIRE transactions.

Professional Experience & Education

Prior to joining Baird in 2019, Ardis worked as a Vice President at Piper Jaffray. He also served as the Chief of Staff at Aeris, a telecommunications company. Prior to his operating experience, Ardis worked in the Investment Banking Groups of Baird and Houlihan Lokey.

In his current role at Baird, Ardis is responsible for client relations as well as industry and quantitative analysis for financial transactions, including M&A, public debt and equity offerings and private placements. Representative transactions include the sale of Helix Traffic Solutions to Nonantum Capital Partners; the sale of RailWorks to Bernhard Capital Partners; the sale of Lone Star Disposal to Waste Connections; the sale of Frontier Waste to Concentric Equity Partners and Summer Street; and the acquisition of Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services by Aurora Capital Partners.

Ardis received a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from the University of Southern California and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ardis is a Board Member of the Horizons For Youth and was previously a Board Member of the Teach for America – Greater Chicago Leadership Circle.
