Professional Experience & Education

Ajay has over 25 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. He has completed transactions in excess of $150 billion advising public and private companies in raising debt financing and executing complex transactions.

He joined Baird in 2022 from DC Advisory where he co-led U.S. Debt Advisory & Restructuring as a Managing Director. Prior to DC Advisory, he was a Managing Director in the Capital Structure Advisory Group at Guggenheim Securities. He also spent several years as an investment banker at Peter J. Solomon Company, Miller Buckfire & Co. and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ajay received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  He holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Outside the Office

Ajay serves on the Board of Advisors for the Penn Museum and as a member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Benjamin Franklin Society.  He served on the Board of Governors for The Washington Club.
