Will Mitchell, Director, Trader

Will Mitchell is a Director and Agency CMBS Trader within Baird’s Fixed Income Capital Markets division.  In this role, Will is responsible for trading agency commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), including Freddie Mac K-deals and Fannie Mae DUS, providing liquidity and execution expertise to institutional clients. Prior to joining Baird in 2018, Will traded Agency CMBS at Hunt Financial Securities and was an assistant portfolio manager at a hedge fund where he traded CMBS and MBS derivatives. Earlier in his career, Will worked at Citigroup and Citizens Financial Group as a fixed income analyst.

Will earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Rochester – Simon Business School and bachelor’s degree in finance and political science from SUNY Brockport. He is a CFA Program Level II Candidate.
