Stephen Sexton, Director, Trader

Stephen Sexton is a Director and Agency Trader at Baird. Stephen is a trusted leader in issuing and trading and distributing government agency securities, including those issued by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Home Loan Banks and the Federal Farm Credit Banks. Prior to Baird in 2021, Stephen held several trading, sales, and research positions at Truist Securities and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. His expertise spans across a variety of fixed income products, with a focus on structured products, mortgage-backed securities, and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) debt. Stephen earned his Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration and Economics from Rhodes College.
