Mike Williamson, Vice President, Public Finance Banker

Michael Williamson works with Baird’s Public Finance platform. He joined the firm in 2022 after spending a decade as a school business administrator in the Milwaukee area. Michael is actively building client relationships in Illinois while supporting Baird’s work in Winston-Salem (NC) and St. Louis / Indianapolis (MO/IN).

His hands-on experience in school finance and public administration gives him an acute understanding of the challenges public entities face, positioning him to deliver thoughtful, tailored solutions.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
