Michael Liebowitz, Managing Director, Corporate Credit Trading Manager

Mike Liebowitz is a Managing Director and Corporate Credit Trading Manager within Baird’s Fixed Income Capital Markets division. In his role, Mike oversees FICM’s corporate credit trading, including investment grade and high yield securities, ensuring efficient execution and strong service for institutional clients. His two primary focuses are: (1) the airline industry, including transactions involving Enhanced Equipment Trust Certificates (EETCs), a key financing structure used by airlines to secure aircraft-backed debt; and (2) the hybrid securities market, with a focus on subordinated and junior debt.

Mike brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his role and has held various trading positions at Stifel Nicholas, Knight Capital Group, Libertas Partners, and RBC. He graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management and the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree.
