Michael Mutti, Managing Director, Analyst/Strategist

Michael Mutti is a Managing Director and Corporate Bond Strategist at Baird, where he plays a pivotal role in helping clients identify relative value opportunities at both the sector and bond level. With a deep understanding of corporate credit markets, Michael provides strategic insights and fixed-income solutions that enhance portfolio performance for institutional investors.

Michael joined Baird’s Fixed Income Sales & Trading team in 2020, bringing with him extensive expertise in credit strategy and fixed-income analysis. Prior to joining Baird, he held leadership roles at several major financial institutions, including serving as Co-Head of Credit Strategy at Bear Stearns. His career also includes key positions at Raymond James, Stifel Nicolaus, and FHN Financial, where he developed and executed corporate bond strategies tailored to institutional investors. Michael graduated from William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
