Mark Rawlings, Director , Public Finance Banker

Mark Rawlings joined Baird in 2019 through its merger with Hilliard Lyons, where he served as a public finance banker. He is currently a Director within Baird’s Public Finance group, providing strategic financing guidance and analytical expertise to a wide range of municipal, nonprofit, and higher education clients.

Mark’s experience includes structuring virtually every type of fixed-rate financing in Kentucky and Indiana, including general obligation, water and sewer revenue, power revenue, TIF revenue, hospital revenue, and higher education. In addition to his regional focus, he also supports higher education entities nationally, helping institutions design tailored financing solutions that advance their strategic and capital objectives.

He graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University in 2003 with his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics.
