Ian Rappaport, Director, Trader

Ian Rappaport is a Director and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) Trader within Baird’s Fixed Income Capital Markets division. In this role, Ian is responsible for trading a wide range of ABS products, including consumer, auto, credit card, student loan, and esoteric asset classes, providing liquidity and strategic insights to institutional clients. Ian has more than 10 years of structured credit experience in sales, trading, and valuations. He has worked on both the buy and sell side. Prior to joining Baird in 2020, Ian an Analyst at Semper Capital Management, Vice President at CapRock Capital, and held several positions at Neuberger Berman. Ian holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University.
