Cory Rothman, Managing Director, Trader

Cory Rothman is a Managing Director and CMBS Trader within Baird’s Fixed Income Capital Markets division. In his role, Cory is responsible for trading commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), including conduit, SASB, agency, and CRE CLO deals, serving institutional clients with liquidity, insights, and strategic execution across the commercial real estate credit spectrum. Cory has more than 20 years of industry experience. Cory joined Baird in 2016 to expand the CMBS trading and structuring specialty. Prior to joining, he held numerous senior CMBS/CRE trading positions at Jefferies and Royal Bank of Scotland. Cory began his CMBS career on the Bear Stearns trading desk in 2005. Cory received his Master of Science in Real Estate, Finance and Investment from New York University and Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland.
