Brian DiRubbio is a Managing Director and High Yield Corporate Bond Analyst at Baird, specializing in high-yield and distressed securities. With extensive experience across multiple sectors, Brian provides in-depth credit analysis and investment insights that help institutional investors navigate opportunities in the high-yield bond and leveraged loan markets.

Brian’s expertise spans the full debt stack, allowing him to assess credit risk comprehensively across loans, bonds, and other fixed-income instruments. His investment process is driven by his many years of experience as a buyside investor along with a deep fundamental understanding of accounting, enabling him to evaluate financial statements with precision and identify relative value opportunities (and risks) in complex corporate credit situations.

Prior to joining Baird, Brian served as a Senior Credit Analyst at William Blair; Managing Member at CapStructure R&A, LLC; Senior Capital Structure Analyst at Tipp Hill Capital Management, LLC; and Portfolio Manager and Senior Equity Analyst at US Trust. Brian has a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking & Money Management and Business Management from Adelphi University.
